The Guild of Woodworkers Wellington Inc in conjunction with the Porirua City Council is holding a Festival of Wood Skills at the Pataka Museum and Gallery in Porirua. This is a 2 yearly event and is run as part of our Exhibition of Woodwork at the Bottle Creek Gallery in Pataka.
Entry to all events is free and open to anyone. Opening times every day are 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

A jamboree style event for all woodworking arts. Novice to skilled workers all welcome.
Bring your wood lathe, scroll saw, carving tools, tools and wood, or just turn up to watch others.
A fun weekend and learning experience for all.
Raffles and display table. Sessions by a top N.Z. Demonstrator.
Material suppliers invited to set up shop..

From Friday noon, all day Saturday and finishing 4 p.m. Sunday.

Weekend 7th,8th and 9th August 2015


The weekend of woodworking activity is held at the Otago Youth Adventure Trust facility at Berwick forest about 20 kilometers south of Dunedin.
Meals are provided, participants will need to supply bedding. Bring your own lathe , scroll saw or carving tools etc, limited club equipment will be available..
