The NAW Executive have sought clarification on the cover offered to Affiliated Clubs and Guild under the NAW Insurance Cover.

21 July 2006. National Association of Woodworkers AGM and Demonstration Day  

This year, the AGM will be hosted by the South Auckland Woodturners Guild at their Papatoetoe Clubrooms
The format will be in line with previous years, with two well known demonstrators providing the support programme for the AGM which will be held early afternoon.
Further details will be posted as they come available, so please keep an eye on this site and in the next edition of Creative Wood or Contact Mark von Dadelszen for further Information .

4/7/2006 2006 AGM Update – from NAW President, Mark von Dadelszen   Current Constitution::  

At the Annual General Meeting held at the South Otago Woodcraft Club Rooms, Crown Street, Balclutha, at 1pm on Saturday 1 July 2006, a revised constitution was adopted. Please follow these links to a copy of the constitution (MS Word Doc) (PDF)

The following resolution was passed as to subscriptions – “That for the 2007-2008 year and until further resolution of a General Meeting, subscriptions be $45 for individual members reducible to $40 if the individual is a member of an NAW member club, $60 for New Zealand business members, $70 for overseas members, and for clubs $5 per club member at 31 March (with a minimum of $50).”

12/05/2006 President’s communiqué to all members, Notice of Annual General Meeting, and draft new Constitution   Update:  

Update:

The Annual General Meeting will be held at the South Otago Woodcraft Club Rooms, Crown Street, Balclutha, at 1pm on Saturday 1 July 2006.

The amendments to the Constitution proposed for consideration by the 18 February 2006 Special General Meeting which did not occur for lack of a quorum, with some further refinements, will now be considered at the Annual General Meeting.

2/3/2006 President’s communiqué to all members  Update:  

The Special General Meeting on Saturday 18 February 2006 did not proceed as there were insufficient members present to achieve a quorum.  

The amendments proposed for consideration by the Special General Meeting, with some further refinements, will now be considered at the Annual General Meeting to be held in Otago on Saturday 1 July 2006 (details will be posted when available).

 

13/01/2006 President’s communiqué to all members  This communiqué has been sent direct to all member clubs, but cost prohibits sending this to all members individually.

13/01/2006 Notice of Special General meeting  A Special General Meeting of the NAW is to be held on 18 February 2006 in Wellington.

Notification of this was sent to all members in the week commencing 5 December 2005
